Irena Paskali Contemporary history is or was recorded on celluloid, it is a carrier of ideologies, agitation, information, but also of film art. The transmission of this content has largely determined the paths we have taken in the different world spheres, creating identification, cultural identity and a sense of belonging. The strictly drawn lines symbolize the identity-determining character of this information carrier in the initial phase of moving images.

The spatial installation wants to show that the information carrier celluloid and, in a figurative sense, the current moving images from news and culture programs as well as cinemas have largely lost their identity-determining character. The zeitgeist blows over them. Societies often lose their social cohesion, individuals are overwhelmed by stories from social networks, which, however, do not have the power to create cultural cohesion.
